Notre but
L’AVE est une association d’écrivains du canton de Vaud en Suisse.
Elle est une association à but non lucratif au sens des art. 60 et suivants du CCS. Elle possède la personnalité morale. De confession neutre, elle l’est aussi politiquement.
L’AVE se propose de rassembler les écrivains vaudois pour les représenter et les défendre devant l’opinion publique et pour prendre toutes initiatives tendant à favoriser l’essor au sein de leur canton et leur pays.
L’AVE se reconnaît en premier lieu des devoirs envers l’ensemble des écrivains vaudois. Elle s’intéresse aux autres sociétés littéraires, cantonales, régionales, nationales et internationales.
L’AVE est ouverte à tous les écrivains vaudois d’origine, de naissance ou de résidence, faisant preuve d’une activité littéraire régulière à titre principal ou accessoire, ayant publié au moins une œuvre.
L’assemblée générale du 9 mars 2013 a décidé d’accorder aussi le statut de membre actif à des écrivains des autres cantons romands ou de France voisine faisant preuve d’une activité littéraire régulière à titre principal ou accessoire, ayant publié au moins une œuvre. Il s’agit d’un groupement professionnel destiné à défendre des intérêts strictement professionnels.
